Apple has halted all retail and reseller orders for MacBook Pros. Many stores had already run out of stock due to Apple drying up the line ahead of time. This would fall into their pattern. According to Macworld Australia, the update will be Tuesday April 13th. We shall see.

All too often Canada has to sit by and watch with jealousy as the neighbours to the south enjoy their new Apple toys. It took a year before the iPhone reached up North. Now with the U.S. April 3rd release of Apple's latest "must have" gadget, the question is how long until Canada gets to have some fun? Those who just can't wait, can cross the border and bring back the Wi-Fi model. The 3G model is due to be released everywhere in late April.
The U.S. Travel Security Administration (TSA) recently stated via their blog site that E-readers and specifically the iPad can remain inside your carry on bag when going through airport security checkpoints. Laptops, X-Box, Playstations and such must be taken out.
