iPad has big potential in Hospitals
|
Apple's iPad as big potential in hospital rooms. A patient's file can be looked up on the spot. His or her X-rays, charts and history readily available. The potential is vast when one considers the custom applications that can be written and the use of attached peripheral devices. Presently Kaiser Permanente in Sacramento, California is running some field tests with a tablet called the Motion C5. They are keeping their options open and will be considering the iPad when it is released. With the existing popularity of iPhones with doctors, it does seem like a natural fit.
